Trying to find out where in the hell to bolt the coil pack to. I dont want to buy wires as the wires I have now are 10mm and were quite expensive. I was thinking the strut tower brace but thought vibration would be a problem. If anyone can shed some ideas or pics it would be appreciated. This is holding me up right now...thanks.

Heres my install. I bolted it to the fuel rail at the gas return side

Actually I saw that...hell I printed it out. I was just looking for other ideas...if there are any. The way my strut tower bar is situated I wouldnt be able to put it there (thats what I get for getting pos ebay stuff). Maybe its a 1g thing? I'll figure it out.

I mounted the coilpacks to the back of the block where the AC compressor used to be and just pluggen in the transistor pack and let it hang. Not sure if letting it juse hang is a good idea but I haven't had problems with it and don't see anything that tells me it needs to be grounded.

I thought of doing that since I dont have the ac either. Did you have to get longer plug wires?

I ended up using the 2 longest wires that came with my aftermarket wire set and my 2 longest stock wires as well to reach the packs. It worked fine but I think I'm going to make a bracket that bolts to the firewall that will put the coilpacks closer so they are easier to reach.

when i put one in on another guys car i mounted it on the strut tower as well and just made the plug wires

Haha, seems everyone has this issue come up .. I talked with the guys at AGPturbo (who have helped me with every aspect of my car) and they came up with an optional coil pack mount. Have a look...

Looks great, and allows you to retain your stock wires. Give them a call, they are very helpful over there.

Best of luck,
