ever since 16g install ... problem

my problem is this. when the engine is cold (like when you dont have 10 mins for the car to warm up becuase you are late for work) under light throttle the turbo spools incredibly fast under any throttle( under very light load on engine) and it seems that the boost controller is not limiting the boost, its set at 15 psi for now. when this happens it pegs at 20 on my gauge & i go absolutely nowhere....the car just bucks & #@%#@%#@%#@%#@%es all over the road. this happens every day. does this sound like the symptoms of a leak (i haven't gotten the chance to do a leak test). when this happens the car has absolutely no power & bucks really bad. what would you kind people suggest that i check. the weather is bitter cold here now & i am a parking lot mechanic, so time is pretty much limited of me working on this thing outside in the cold. that is why i am asking for suggestions of things to look at. want to get to the point right off the bat & not mess around. or else, i would have taken everything apart & redone the whole damn turbo install. thank you for any help given in advance. :dsm:
 
From what it sounds like you are hitting fuel cut. Check your plugs/wires. Also what kind of fuel computer are u runing?
 
no offense, but how does that sound anything like fuel cut? this is under like 10% throttle, i am not even trying to boost at all. it shouldn't boost at all. it is under very very little load on the engine. my problem is not even close to fuel cut. thanks for trying to help me out though. it is hard to decipher what is what over the net.

however, i know what fuel cut is & what it feels like. when the engine is cold=when it is not up to operating temp. once it is, the car runs fine most of the time. but the cold weather isn't helping & sometimes briefly after warmup,,, the car still acts up under light throttle. i have been modding these cars for a while now & i have ran into fuel cut and most "common" problems numerous times. never had this happen before though.

i guess i should have added in the original post. i have checked all the plugs & wires, have done all basic maintenance on the car. this problem never happened before the 16g install & it is most certainly related to the addition of the turbo or my install job.

to answer your question(all in my mods list): i am running 550 injectors with a spooling up fuel pressure regulator, wb 255lph pump, s-afc, pocketlogger for monitoring & a hacked mas.......it's not because i am running ritch:)

this problem isn't a simple maintenance problem. i am looking for suggestions on what to check. only things i can think of are wg sticking, leaking gasket that expands when engine gets hot, boost leak.

i guess i am looking for some experienced tuners to help out with this one. i have done extensive work on dsm's before & i am not sure where to go on this one. and i apologize for the original very brief post.
