i built my mbc and did it the way vfaq says but now my car is acting funny. its slugish above 3000rpm unless i am going and downshift then it will pull. my car idles at 2k on start up and then the check engine light turns off and it instantly drops to 1500 thats what my car idles at. is that high? and if i am just cruising and let of the gas my car feels like it gets out of gear(auto). i didn't cap off the intake where the bcs went to and didn't cap off the part where the vac line from the waste gate went to the pipe right above it going to the i/c. what do you think my prob is.
 
Im not understading you to well? You didnt tap off the holes on the intake, where the BCS hose goes into the intake? or you didnt tap of the holes on the BCS? you must have all the holes on the intake closed! or you will get boost leak!
 
i tapped the nipples on the intake turbo and bcs and cut the spring on my mbc so i could run less boost until i get my boost gauge(in 2 days i was running the mbc all the way open to avoid blowing the motor. its back to being about stock but it still has nothing. you think i need more fuel flowing(fuel pump rewire) or is there something else.
