i know that... i would be getting all that.

i'm just wondering if paying 625 for a 20g would be too much. if i do get it, i would be getting the supporting mods as well.

I don't think a 20g compressor wheel will fit inside a small16g housing...

SBR sells a 20g that fits in a 16g cover. Think they just bore it out. Would they still use the 16g comp housing or would they replace it with the 20g? I haven't checked around to see what the standard cost of a rebuild would be but $625 is cheeper then a new one, their usually $900+.

Yeah, Extreme Motorsports offers this service too. IT seems like a good deal if you have a tired worn out 16G, and its only a little more then a Evo III. Why not?

FP also does this on their "sleeper 16g's". I have one of these on my Gst right now. It is a pretty good turbo, but inefficient due to the big wheel in a small housing. I plan on upgrading to a TD06 compressor housing in the near future, which should help with some high end knock I'm seeing.

You got any dyno or track numbers with that thing? It seems like a cool idea for what it is, but like you said it makes for a big decrease in compressor efficiency. I'd be interested to know what kind of numbers/times people have run with this turbo.

i live by extreme motorsports and they are the one i got the price from. i'm pretty sure they would keep the td05 compressor housing and not upgrade to a td06.. but i'll ask them to make sure.
