I'm interested in getting a B.C. for my car. What is the best bang for my buck, something good but not hella cheap. Also should I go mechanical or electric. :dsm:

I'd say make your own. I've had a few and the ones I paid for would spike pretty bad. My home made one works far superior compared to others. If you want to buy one, I'd say a Hallman or a JoeP MBC.

Try doing a search on here, you should be able to find more then a few threads on boost controllers.

People are probably starting to think that I work for www.dejontool.com but I have to say that their dual stage mbc is very nice. I have had one for about 6 months now and it is really consistent. It has a high and low boost setting that you can toggle via a switch in the interior. It was only about $90.

i like the mbc from dejontool. i have 3 on 3 different cars now and they are very accurate and reliable. also have installed them on several other cars and never had a problem. my experience iwth electronic boost controllers is that they are very finicky and tend to spike for no reason and other times work fine.

go mbc.
