radiator hoses with 1g head swap

Hi,

I swapped my 2g cylinder head with a 1g. I am almost done. But if I am correct I have to use the 1g lower radiator hose and the 2g upper one, right? Well, my 2g lower hose fits without any problems. So, here is the dilemma. I have to replace these hoses, because they are old and worn. Can I use the greddy hose kit or the one that turbotrix has for the 2g's? Or do I need to get the lower one from a 1g and the upper one from a 2g? The reason why I ask is, I want to upgrade to some nicer ones instead of the OEM ones. And they only come in kits for 1g or 2g.

No you have to use the 2g Upper and 1g Lower radiator hose for it to work. Save yourself the money and just get new ones from autozone or advance or OEM ones. They do the job correctly

With very minor modification I found the gates 20820 radiator hose to work perfectly without having to grind or even touch the counterweights.
