Timing belt blew

just an qiuck question on the 4g63. I have R2ed (Removed and replaced) and blew timing belt on an 420a And had to remove the head and take it to the mechiane shop before. I have also R2ed and belt on a 4g63 but not one that blew while driving.

So my question is " is this an interfering engine like the 420A?" thanks

A simple "yes" or "no" will do.

Yes, the pistons and valves will get intimate....

thanks man. i'll get an borescope from work and look into it through the spark plug holes to see. i just wanted an heads up .

Do a compression test too, if you have the equipment.
