Does the oem Mitsu h/g come in .020 over?

Hey Everybody,

For a daily driven 6 bolt running like 17-18 psi on the street and maybe 22-24 psi max,track on a t04b v-trim, would a oem mitsu gasket suit me fine? I will have arp's of course. I was looking at the comectics but i just read alot of post on them and they seem like it is really hard to seal correctly. I have my head decked but my block isn't currently. Also is the mitsu avalible from a mitsu dealer in .020 overbore? Thanks

Do you realize how much .020" is? It's about the size of a pixel on the screen you're looking at.


the cometic gaskets actually come in different sizes according to bore size, however the oem mitsu gasket has holes big enough for even a +.060 motor.

I think he ment .20 over in terms of the thickness of the head gasket.

Ive seen and heard of cases when people are ####ing up their heads boosting more then 18 psi on a stock hg. or maybe a highmilage stock hg.

The hg blows and compression is going between the two cylinders and wears out the material seperating each cylinder(on the head ofcourse not the block)
 
thanks for everybody's reply,but what i meant was how the cometic headgaskets are avalible in a .20 overbore to fit .20 over pistons is there a factory mitsu oem headgasket that is avalible .20 overbore to fit oversized pistons? Or does one size fit all sorry for all the confusion
