98 gsx turbo question

If anybody can help me answer this, is there some kind of nipple or connecter that can be removed to add more boost and horsepower...I was told there was. If so where would it be located, how will it effect engine, and is it safe???? appreciate any help "J"

Boost Control Solenoid. I replaced it with the Greddy unit when i upgraded to an EBC.
