To all you running an externally gated setup, are you running a gasket between the flange on the gate and the dump tube?

The mating surfaces on both flanges seem to be flat, but I have no idea how to tell if there's a leak at the flange because I'm not at WOT all the time.

If you don't have one I wouldnt worry about it...especially if it is venting to atmosphere anyways.

I just thought that since the flange it's pointing at my radiator, it wouldn't be good.

I just made sure both surfaces were flat and used no gasket. No problems thus far.
