Let us know when you install it. I'm leaning toward this intercooler as well. :thumb:

It has the short route uicp. It includes the throttle body elbow and a fan. I got the whole thing shipped for $1115. I was going to get the IRC but there is a 2-3 week wait and heard from someone else that the wait was even longer than that. Victory Performance is shipping it Monday so that's pretty quick. Plus the IRC intercooler for a 2nd gen was $1200 and if I read the website correctly it doesn't include a fan( but don't quote me on that because I'm not 100% sure). I would like to say that the people I spoke to at Victory Performance were very helpful and not your typical " OK will that complete your order thank you good by" type of people that I have delt with for everything else I have purchased for my car. He even offered help with another problem I was having unrelated to the fmic. I will definitly use them again when I buy something else. I'll keep ya'll updated on it though.

I received mine 2 weeks ago. I did have to wait awhile but It didn't matter because it's just sitting in my garage (just bought another DSM, 90 GST).

I will say this: it's freaking beautiful!! It's put together very nicely. Welds look good, everything. Since I am one of the first people with one it was made alittle different:

race core (24x12x3.5)
3" outlets
1 piece TB elbow pipe (2 pieces to reach L side outlet instead of 3)

As for fitment, that will be seen next weekend. It's going on my 95 AWD (ETE 32, 650's, 3" turboback)

Only thing that sucks is that I will have to ONCE AGAIN have to take off my compressor housing and have the elbow chopped off and re-welded to face the driver's side. Oh well.

I'll say one thing, you do get a complete package. Customer service is real good too. Scott actually called me 3 days ago asking me all sorts of questions, not bad if you ask me!

I will give a further review(hopefully with pics) soon,

Bruce

Your right but so far so good. I'll keep everyone updated when I get it. Hopefully I'll get it in fairly short time( hopefully ). I will take some pics of it when I do the install so I can show everyone how it looks on the car.

FYI, the greddy big fmic is 24" wide and it allows 97-99 eclipses to keep their fog lights.

At 28x10/12x3.5, I dont see how you can keep the lights especially since the tanks are on the sides, and the in/out are on the sides too unlike IRC or BR 1g type setups...

damn.. that sux! they coulda just moved the in/outlets of the ic lower to people could keep their foglights. I looked at the picture of their piping. It appears that people will have to weld an elbow on their turbos that face the drivers side?

When i did my 98 conversion i couldent put in my foglights cause of the greddy but ive seen tons of 97-99's on here with greddy and the foglights, mine wouldent even come close to fitting in there, i dont see what the diffrence would be?

Well the intercooler is here. All I need to do now is get the elbo on the turbo cut off an rewelded facing the other direction. The kit looks great though. All the welds are clean, piping looks good, and the core is bigger than I though. I ordered the street core and it's huge. I'll keep everyone informed on the install everything. Hopefully I'll start on it tomarrow and I'll try to get some pics up but I'll have to borrow a digital camera. So far I'm very pleased with with everything. As soon as get it on I'll be back to track so I'm pump right now.

Do they have an option where you don't need to chop and reweld your turbo outlet elbow? I mean, most turbos don't come w/ an elbow welded facing the drivers side. Most people get turbos w/ the outlet facing down. There's more than enough room to put a 90 deg pipe on there like the IRC 2g race core.

if your elbow just faced down you could put a silicone elbow on it and put it whichever direction you want like i have on mine.

What size is the lower ic pipe? Is it the same as the turbo outlet elbow?

BTW, do you have pics of the IC installed?
