ok well i have 550s AFPR 255 FP rewired SS fuel lines and an AFC2 is this ok to run 20 psi on 93??

youve got the fuel system ready, make sure its tuned correctly and it should be fine. your turbo may not last much longer (not like its going to die in a week or anything, but still) because thats pushing it pretty well. have fun! :thumb:

If you’re still running the t25 I don’t think that it will last too long, also you may just be hurting yourself. The t25 isn’t very efficient after 16/17psi anyway. I’d keep the boost around there.

make sure you have a logger. Any pull in timing is knock related. Thats what will get ya.

I wish it was that simple with the 2g ecu. The 2g ecu is so finnicky when it comes to pulling timming that it could be for any number of reasons. Too much fuel, too high of coolant temp, too high of intake temps etc.... plus you can't log knock, which is rediculous, so you have to go with a semi more trial and error approach.

You will be just fine, as long as you tune it correctly as stated above. Tune to 17-18 psi first and see what it does. I run 20 psi all day on my stock bottom end with a lot bigger turbo than the 16G. I plan on turning it up to 22 psi or so and tune for pump gas. :thumb:

Oh, trust me I know. I tune with dsmlink which monitors knock, all of my retard these days (maybe just because its colder out) is directly knock related.

At the very least get a logger to help you tune. It's very important and will help you fix a lot of issues that will come up from not being able to tune. In the end it'll be cheaper to get the logger than replace your headgasket from knocking and blowing it. Especially at 20 psi.

true, usually timing being pulled is related to knock.. How is dsmlink working for you? I hope to be purchasing it soon and was wondering how it worked for people, all I hear is good things. Oh and do you still have a 7bolt in there while monitoring knock??

It kicks ass. I feel sorry for people who have the afc = logger combo. with dsmlink I have SO much more control and i can monitor knock. As well as all the additional features are amazing. totally worth the extra money. its not just an AFC it's everything. I am still running the stock 7-bolt block and head.
