JDM vs USDM 6 blt in a 2G

Hey, I tried searching, but for some reason the search won't work on words of 3 letters or less. Does the JDM 6 bolt swap in our 2G's the same as a USDM? I'm just thinking of swapping a JDM shortblock into my 2G (might be able to get a decent deal). I can't imagine any reason why not, but of course I don't know everything there is to know about the topic so I thought I'd get some of your opinions.

the engines are the same. the jdm one has a cyclone intake and probably will come w/ a different turbo. i think someone once said it might come w/ bigger injectors too. but other than that they are the same engine. don't waste your money importing a jdm engine. that's my 2 cents

yeah I found all the research on that before I posted, my question is whether or not the shortblocks are the same. I'm just swapping in the shortblocks, keeping my 2G head w/ a 1G intake. My question concerns the shortblocks only. The only reason I ask is that I may have a decent deal on a 6 bolt JDM built shortblock.

btw, for future reference you can search for things using a wildcard if its under 4 letters like JDM*
