Does anybody use an Isuzu NPR intercooler???

If you do use one, how good does it work? I was thinking of getting one off of ebay. Does it work as good as the other aftermarket FMIC?

I fyou are going to make custom IC piping for it. you may as well buy a real core and get piping for that. a while back on dsmtalk someone posted all the flow rates for the supra,starion, and izuzu intercoolers. but flow is only one part of it. The pressure drop and efficiency are also what need to be looked at.

I just thought it would be a good upgrade since it's cheaper than other aftermarket FMIC and also it cools a big Turbo Diesel engine.

yea if it cools a big turbo diesel engine (well actually the NPR only had 135hp) but anyways...it should be able to cool a import rather well.

I also read the review that L2RTsiAWD referred to. It's been a while, so I forget where I saw it, but the NPR intercooler was the best at removing heat/ avoiding heatsoak, but it did the worst in pressure drop. The Supra sidemount scored very well out of those tested.
