Hey all. I have two busted motor mounts. The top driver side mounts inner bushing is busted and inserts are ripped. I want to get a full set of poly mounts but I cant find poly inners, just the inserts. Does anyone know who sells a complete set of poly mounts with the inserts and inner mount?

I got a prothane kit and had only intake and exhaust ones installed. I still have four polyurethane pieces (I guess inserts) left in the box. I haven't seen the other two before installation and not sure if they were just inserts or complete mounts. I don't know if that answers your question.

not to threadjack but what is the small mounts all the way on the left for (in the last picture)... got a set of mounts but didn't know where they go.... any response is greatly appreciated...

Thanks guys. I think I'll proly go with the slowboys. I guess I was under the impression that the mount was floating with a larger rubber piece. But I guess I just havent looked close enough.... :thumb:

I just installed prothanes. The little ones are for the front mount and you just stick them in basically on top of the stock mounts. The other three are a PAIN. Heres the method I used: Once you get the old mount out (one at a time if the engine is in the car), try and tear the rubber up as much as you can and force the it out. In my case, My drivers mount (biggest) was torn pretty bad and I was able to get the rubber out fairly easily. If you cant get the rubber parts out, whip out the torch, burn the mofos out. This is the easiest way. After you have all the rubber cleaned out, you have to get the metal ring out. It looks like a giant bearing. I took a sawzall and cut a line clean through it (not through the whole mount, just ring inside of it) to weaken it, and make it easier to get out. Then take a punch, or a flathead screw driver, and hammer it down in between the mount and the ring. Make sure you have a line completely cut with the sawzall before you try and pry it out, others wise it just makes it harder. The ring should come out fairly easily. Then you have to get the prothanes in, which is pretty easy, although you might want to lube it up alittle so it slides in easier, I had to use soap.

Or you can have a machine shop press the old ones out, but then your talking about three seperate trips, because you can't pull them all out at one time.

This is why summit rocks OMG OMG

Last time I ordered something from summit they charged something like $10 or $15 for an order processing charge (plus shipping) so your basically at the other prices.

How hard are thoses side mounts to install? (not sure what their called but the one is on the passenger side & one is one the drivers side) I replaced my front & back torque mounts with the energy suspension inserts but was thinking about doin the other mounts as well. Is there a real benefit to doing these mounts as well?
