I have a friend that is willing to give me his 14B turbo off of his 90 Laser RS Turbo. I already have takin this turbo apart and checked for shaft play and takin off both housings and everything checked out fine.

What I am asking is a complete list of items that will be needed to swap over the 14B to my 2G. Including oil lines, water line if needed or modified or anything etc....This will be "quick fix" and upgrade from my tired and already maxed out T-25 until I get my 50Trim.

Thanks.

There are many threads with this info already.

T25 to 14b/16g swap, you need:
-turbo
-SS oil feed line (oil feed taken from the head or from oil filter housing)
-1g oil return line (some people skimp and file down the holes on the stock 2g return line)
-turbo to manifold gasket (7cm gasket is reccomended).
-turbo to o2 housing gasket
-oil return line gaskets
-you can reuse the stock coolant lines, but they must be bent to fit the 14b/16g

Budget heros reuse all the gaskets and lines, but I'd rather not toast my engine and do things right once to have them last.

If you would have done a good search, you would have found my old post:

Parts needed:
14b
1g J-pipe
2g LICP
10" x 2" pipe (with beads welded at ends)
2g oil feed line (oil filter side)
1g oil feed line (turbo side)
1g or 2g drain pipe
1g or 2g water lines (bending needed)
Rubber fuel injection line
High-temp Copper/Silicone gasket maker

Total cost of install kit: $40

1. Cut the 2g LICP inbetween the two 90* bends
2. use 10" long pipe to raise LICP to the 1g J-pipe
3. cut 2g oil feed line near turbo
4. cut 1g oil feed line near the already cut 2g line
5. connect the two feed lines using fuel injection hose
6. install water lines, bend as needed
7. use gasket maker in place of mani->turbo, turbo->o2 housing, o2 housing->downpipe gaskets.

This method of installation has worked for a few people in the past, and over a year for me personally. Good luck on the install, its worth it :thumb:.

For the oil feed line, do not get oil from the head. Many times the oil pressure in the head is too low and the oil can be dirty. Get oil from the oil filter housing where the pressure is higher and the oil is cleaner. If you can get ahold of a 1G oil return line, use it. It can be a PITA to make the 2G line fit the 14b.
