I current;y have a 3" turbo back mandrel bent exhaust with apex N1 muffler. it has 3 bends in the rear working around the suspension and I am tired of the ricy looking fart can muffler.. My friend is going to buy me a muffler of choice and trade for my N1.

I have heard dynomax has the least backpressure, waht are some other opinions basically plans are the muffler and turn down just before the gas tank. save some weight MAYBE make it sound better, and get rid of the muffler in the rear.

did I make you all mad with the ricy muffler comments OMG :D

Burns stainless steel has some real nice, very small mufflers. But the price is outrageous. Dynomax ultra-flo is 1 of the best flowing mufflers on the market, and would probly be my choice. Except im not big on the turn down close to the gas tank. Ive got video's of my friends and I shooting nasty flames from a just BARELY rich condition. Shooting those at the gas tank might not be fun =P

I would recommend a Dynomax Ultra-Flo. I've got a round shaped one on my 93 GSX right where my cat used to be. It's 3" and pretty loud but sounds good!

If you are in the game for just performance and don't care about sound. Then you don't need a muffler at all. Go with a straight pipe, especially if you are going to cut it and turn it down by the gas tank. (May be the loudest, but definately better performance) Either way, it's illegal if it doesn't exit the car at some point(either the back or side).

Honestly, I am not into this. The power is "more" in the piping size than the muffler. My power is concentrated in my turbo(t04b) and tuning, the exhuast is just personal preference and appearance purposes. :thumb:
