Boost creep or Need wastegate

I have an 89 Mirage w/4G63T and Im running a B16G and an AVC-R.I wanted to know is it time to replace the factory wastegate w/ an external one?or is it a bad wastegate.I want to retain that factory look But ya'll know how it is.To Hell with looks its all about speeed.The car starts trying to boost 20lbs. but it used to hold steady boost.I also have an FMIC .

clean the factory wastegate sometimes they get a little sticky with age. this helped boost control issues with my Syclone, also mitsu turbo

Ok now for another silly ? but I need to know.Is the wastegate acuator off the T25 garret (2g) the same as a 16g?
