I see that i live near you. how old r u im 17? i was wondering if you ever go to naperville on a friday or saturday night.. they race there me and my buds go there alot. my friend works in st. charles at a pizza place he has a crx. i have a lot more questions for you too.
1. What is the main problem with increasing boost levels on stock motor and new turbo but wtill just td05.. like how high can i go i have crushed bov. before i tried to run with the boost celnoid disconnected. it was a week after i bought platium spark plugs which i no now r not good. it ran ok for the first few mins then it started knockin real bad like a rod blew.. so i hooked the celnoid back up and started it and it was fine.. i guess i had a fuel knock.. i kinda no that there was probably way too much boost for the fuel to mix with but i dont no if that is a good thing to do again.. could it of just been my shitty spark plugs cus a friend of mine who live in naperville has a 12 sec dsm like mine and he has his diconnected. he also has just a downpipe for exaust.. so basically im wondering how i can effectively turn up my boost the cheapest way.
2. my cracked manifold needs to be replaced im not boosting much over stock now so i no its no effecting my boost but if i get a 2g from a junkyard can i port it myself?
3. on my left cylinder two studs are gone to hold on the manifold.. it dont leak here so far but is there any way i can replace those.?
oh.. and i have installed my own clutch so im pretty good at working on it im just new to the turbo world. thanks alot .. and let me know wher eyou live maybe we can meet and see eachothers cars..thanks alot
