How do you remove stock 91 Oil cooler to put on aftermarked one?

Ok I have a 91 TSI talon.... and I have the Water cooled oil filter housing.... how can I remove that and stick on a air cooled style one.... I have the oil filter relocation kit and a air style oil cooler, but I just dont know what I all have to do to remove the stock oil cooler and make the new setup work...

I believe you have to get the 90 water pipe, remove the block off bolts in the 91 housing and hook up your air cooled cooler there.

you'll need the 90 style oil filter housing, which means taking off the timing belt and probably replacing the end case gasket (and doing bal. elim) while you're in there.

No need to do all that. I installed a 50 trim a little over a month ago. I have a 91 talon and we stripped the oil feed nut trying to get it off. I had a local friend with a 90 housing and we was about to swap it, little over 2 hours. You can pull the lower timing cover out of the way to install, only take out lower bolts. Loop the water lines. Then install aftermarket air/oil cooler in the left fender. I can post pictures tomarrow if requested.
