On a sheet metal intake manifold most of them have no bung for the manual differential pressure sensor. Is this sensor needed? I have eliminated my emissions via taboo speedshops diagram, and just wondering bout this sensor. Thanks.

First pic is the map sensor. Second area, the red shows where you have to sand it down to get rid of the bevel. Then take your vacuum line and a 1/2" long piece of larger hose on the end (3/8ths I think) and then superglue it to the MAP sensor. Thats how I did mine and it has been boost-leak-free for over a year now.

And to answer your question, it is not needed, however it will throw a CEL if not used.
