evo3 16g for xmas?

ok so i have a 1g awd and both of my 14bs r toast. i want to get a new turbo and im wondering how much boost i can run witha rewired denso pump and a supra smic on an evo3. i need a clutch so i dont have the cash for the rest of the fuel mods. i have a full 3" exhaust and i know its gonna b hard to keep the turbo around stock boost even if i get it ported and the flapper upgrade. anyone think i can put up 15psi? 450s would b maxed out for sure. i know this has been asked before but i looked and didnt find anything. thanks to anyone that helps! o and i have a logger so i can watch how its running.

You should really have a Fuel Pressure Regulator with that fuel pump.

A S-AFC and some bigger injectors, because you will max out the injectors.

As far as how much boost you can run with your set up, like you said use your datalogger and find out.

my low trim is 118.7% so its not running that bad. yea i know i need injectors and id rather have a maft instead of an safc but for right now i dont have the cash. i need a clutch. i just wanna know if i can put down 14-15psi?

yeah, 14-16 psi is a ok for stock injectors w/ an upgraded fuel pump. I run 18psi on my b16g with a 190lph on pump gas with no problems. you will be fine.

but over 16psi,. your stock clutch can start to slip,..

mine slipping at 16psi,. some times,. and it was a new one from 4 month

not worried about the clutch.... im puttin a 2600 in and a flywheel once tax returns come back. i just need a turbo since both of mine r toast. i think im gonna get the evo after xmas. im having probs with my winter car so i cant really buy it now.

yeah, nice choice,. my friends have an evo3 16g, on his AWD laser he ran 12.19@115mph with race gas and fmic 25x7x2.8

1G's are different than 2G's. Especially if he's still on the 1G MAS. My small 16g wouldn't fuel cut on stock injectors up to 16 psi but my bud's 1G couldn't do over 13 psi without almost smacking his head on the steering wheel.

im not worried about fuel cut more then i am knock and hich cycles. if thats the case ill just put a maft on and i wont have to deal with fuel cut anymore. right now i just need somethin cause its lookin like ill have to drive the talon this winter. anyone gotta 14b in decent shape they wanna let go???
