What Do I Need To Change A Automatic 1995-1999 Eclipse Into A Manual Eclipse

IF ANYONE CAN HELP ME FIGURE THIS OUT, I HAVE A AUTOMATIC 1997 GST AND I WANTED TO CHANGE IT TO A MANUAL. I DON'T KNOW WHY I GOT AN AUTOMATIC, BUT NOW I WANT TO KNOW WHAT IS NEEDED TO CONVERT IT AND HOW MUCH WILL EVERYTHING COSTS. THANKS AND OH...YEA.. DSM RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I forget what is needed. A shop quoted $3,000 with the parts to do the job. I don't think it's worth the time nor the money.
