ok i just insulled my new 50 trim hybrid but it is really close to my front moter mount the one thats on the cradel how did u all make your intercooler piping fit in. any one have pics,

haha for the ic piping it is really clost to the front moter mount and i dont think the piping will fit in. also i am putting in a new spearco 216 fmic do i have to cut the bumper support. any one have pic of there fmic instull perferbly the same intercooler or one like it

You can "clock" the turbo a bit for better fit.("Rotate the compressor housing") You will most likely have to cut the bumper. Just remove the headlights and bumper cover and bumber and start installing. You will ba able to mark the bumper with marker to show the torch man where to cut. Mark

will clocking th turbo mess up the internal waster gate will the actuator work right if it is clocked

My wastegate actuator is attached to the 02 housing and the turbine so the compressor does not come into play with that. My 50 has a elbow facing the passenger side and it just about touches the motor mount but is OK. When I said to clock it I meant just enough to clear, perhaps 1/4" tops. Even if your actuator is attached to the compressor you may be alright.
How about you other guys with 50 trims, close to the motor mount? Mark

well the guy that started the post has a 2g. I have a 2g as well and installed a pte 56 trim. I had absolutely not problems with the motor mount but that may be because my intercooler had inlets and outlets on opposite sides. If they are both on the passenger side I could see why you may run into a problem, however putting both the inlet and outlet on that side seems dumb to begin with.
