Balance Shaft Removal Smooth

I just rebuilt my head AGAIN, after the shop i took it too ####ed up, and my oil pump sprocket was hard to turn.. So we Cracked her off and did the balance shaft elminator kit since i had one laying around.

I must say, the engine has never run more smoothly ever since i bought the car about 6 months ago. There is NO vibrating whatsoever.... and any random sound i heard before in high rpms? GONE. Removing those shafts and gaining some oil pressure was probably the best thing I have ever done for that car besides fix it twice...


I recommend you all remove your balance shafts and if you follow the VFAQ WORD for WORD i think you'll be happy.

If removing the balance shafts made your engine run smoother than they were probably out of phase.

yea for sure. whoever worked on em last must've had them off because.. wow taking them out made a HUGE difference.
