OK, So my talon is getting a 6 bolt stroker thrown in her. The downside to this is that the car is FWD. I was curious if any FWD DSM'ers had a limited slip installed and what kind you have, and how well it works. If anyone has a stroker and FWD, how bad is the traction? Please fill me in, I dont want to go waste money on a limited slip if it does not do all that much to help out acceleration.

Kevin... im excited as you are to put the stroker in it. I hope people help you out because im kinda concerned about you being able to hook up to because it will be sad if i walk you again... LOL AWDpower!!
good luck!

I personally own an awd but I believe a nice limited slip, stiff rear suspension and some nice tires in the front will solve most of your problems. Poly motor mounts are a must as well.

I've got a Kaaz lsd installed in my 92 tsi and it works wonderfully, giving me much more traction and even distribution of power out of the hole. Even helped reduce wheelspin some. I would recommend it. :thumb:

about to get my built tranny with quaife installed this weekend, will report back after that and let you know how I feel about it. I hope it makes a difference I pulled a 2.1 60ft on street tires with the stock open diff so I am hoping for 1.9's maybe high 1.8's next time I am at the track.
