1g 7-bolt boost

How much boost will a 1g 7-bolt block hold? Would a thicker copper head gasket benefit or be a lose? The company is SCE it is a .093" thick gasket! PLease help!!!!!1

How much boost is a broad question. 16psi on a T-25 is nothing compared to 16psi on a FP green so I really can't answer that but, from what I have heard, 400HP is tolerable on a stock 7 bolt bottom end.

Using a thicker headgasket will slightly lower compression which is unnessicary for your application. The compression ratio on a stock 7 bolt is 8.5:1 which is plenty low enough. My next rebuild will include a set of 9.1:1 pistons and will be just fine for street use.

In order to use the SCE gasket you need to have the block and head o-ringed. Just use the factory composite gasket or multi-layer metal gasket.
