Hey guys, just a question most of you probably know.. Installing my turbo and just want to know what goes on this nipple..

http://s88280493.onlinehome.us/temp/turbo.jpg

When I got the turbo a hose goes from there to the internal wastegate..

however I have a profec B.. I know because of this the wastegate connects to the profec B breakout box.. but now that leaves that nipple shown in picture..

Can somewhat come up with a cheap ms paint diagram heh, thanks

The profec requires 2 references on the soleniod and 1 to the actual controller. The one to the control must be manifold pressure. This is becuase you want to measure how much air pressure is entering you motor. On the solenoid, one pressure reading comes from the wastegate (or actuator, depending on set up). And the other from the nipple on the compressor housing (the one the author is referring to). You can also cap it off. But If you want another reference use this nipple. I do not suggest you tap into your "manifold-to-fpr" line again. If you have a boost gauge, this is where you probably have it tapped. And the boost controller, as stated above, requires the same pressure reading. That's 2 already. If you have too many hoses tapped in that area and one of those hoses were to get cut or leak then you wouldn't have enough fuel, if any, supplied to the motor. You know the rest. This is my opinion, I just like to be on the safe side.
