ever seen/used SHOGUN engine management?

I borrowed one from someone, its a engine managment piggy back system I hooked it up and set all settings to stock and the car ran like #@%#@%#@%#@% very eratic idle? Has anyone ever used one? Do they work nice if you can tune it? Or is it just a P.O.S

from what i heard its crap!!! and they are not very tuneable at all. Save a few bucks and get an Apex
