96gst with supra bov

will a stock bov off of a 87 toyota supra work with my 96 turbo dsm? my friend has a pile of stock supra parts laying around here in his garage and i want to know if it will fit. we are currently installing my a/f and boost guages. i got a turbonetics mbc along with autometer phantom guages earlier today for 170 dollars today and i want to up the boost but i know i shouldnt do it with my stock 2g bov, or could i, maybe up to 11 or 12 on my stocker? please help asap.........thanks, RyAn 96gst

if you really wanted to you could do it, but why waste the time and effort when 1g bov's are already proven and have adaptors already made for them?

Not to mention the fact that the 1g BOV's are dirt cheap anymore. You can find them damn near anywhere. Anyone will tell you that the stock 2g BOV is a leaky piece of junk. Just get the 1g bov and a Brode intercooler pipe. You won't need an adapter. Then turn up the boost. You'll be amazed the difference the UICP and 1g BOV will make.
