6 Bolt to 2G swap

When installing a 6 Bolt 4G63 or 4G64 into a 2G car, in one article I read, you have to do modifications to the oil pump and engine block such as drill extra holes and remove material. Is this true? If I buy an engine from a vendor, is all this work already done?

Thats the old school way of doing it before people started rewiring thier cam angle sensors. Now you can use all 6 bolt parts except for the 2g starter mounting bracket and 2 motor mount trimmed around the water pump. Go on road races site, they have a harness for sale so you dont even have to cut up your stock harness and cas.

U don't have to cut the stock harness anyways just use the 2 plugs from your engine and plug them back into your car's main harness.
