Hey whats up. Around 2 months ago i installed a brand new B16g. The other day as i was drivin next to a friend he noticed that whenever i boosted my car would smoke blue. I let him drive the car as i watched and sure enough when he got on it it would smoke and it was indeed blue.
So i figured i was burning oil , could be bad rings, bad valve seals, bad turbo seals. The car would only smoke under boost so i was leaning toward the rings being gone or the turbo seals being bad.
Well this morning i did a compression test and got 155-156-153-153, adding oil into the chamber only improved the reading by a psi or two. So the piston rings are sealing and seem good.
Ok so turbo seals are probably gone, the turbo is pretty new but heh shit happens. So i decide to pull the turbo. Now unless im wrong the turbo can be leaking at either the compressor side or the exhaust side.
Pull the jpip off the turbo and look into the compressor housing Bone dry. Pull the turbo out and i have no traces of oil in the turbine housine or o2 housing. SO im like shit where the hell is this oil coming from... if there was enough oil leaking to cause blue smoke shouldnt where it is coming from atleast show some signs of oil being there?
By the way plugs do not have any oil deposits on them and the exhaust ports inthe head have no oil residue either.
any suggestion or anything else to check?
