I read in a message that the B16G compressor wheel is a 50-trim ( non-brand specific, but measuremnt wise).
The short story is that my compressor wheel on my WRX turbo got trashed.... My "turbo guy" suggested a garrett 50-trim compressor wheel over the more expensive stock replacement 13G/T compressor wheel. SO he's boring the compressor housing out and stuffing a 50-trim in my TD04L housing.
I have a few questions that I'd like to ask you guys, vs the "guy selling stuff to me".
#1 how big of a jump is a 13G/T to a 50trim garrett compressor wheel ?
#2 What the heck should I call the turbo ? TD04L-50trim or muTT, hehe...
#3 I reallize that my smaller turbine ( compared to its compressor ) is going to have a hard time making "higher boost", but is 13psi outta the question ??
#4 If a B16G is a 50-trim, then what is the 13G/T from my wrx turbo ( hint:Compressor Wheel Inducer Size: 40.56mm;; Compressor Wheel Exducer Size: 55.98mm ) ?
Keep inmind, this is a 8.4/1 compression Sohc honda 1.6L, not the 4G63T, but the questions a generally speaking anyway... My power goal is only 250whp

( of course the childish ones like "buy a DSM" or "civics suck" or what ever )
