Ok here it is.. I just got my first Import about 6 months ago.. (92 TSi) I've done all free mods and added boost gauge and controller with a EPROM ECU that I program and tune personally.. A recent tranny accident has caused me to catch the bug again of totally building up yet another car.. I was just going to do internal engine work while I had the motor and tranny out but My budget just increased by 5K so I'm going balls out.. If you know something isn't going to work please let me know before I go about useing it, but I'm almost positive all my components are right.. Just going to be tuning it for some time..

I'm not really going to be racing this car until spring and probably going to only run about 15-17 psi of boost during the winter here. I have only a few concerns. One is useing the 2G MAS. I plan to convert to Speed Density by spring and don't have really any cash left over from the build to get the MAFT and GM MAF. Will the 2G MAS work ok up to say 20 psi with this turbo? I usually see everyone with this thing using AEM and useing SD instead of Mass Air. Second is my tranny. Can the JDM tranny take as much abuse as the USDM trannys can? I'm getting a really good deal on the tranny and Tcase and I'm going to get it if the part numbers check out for the final gear ratio to use in the US cars. I'm going to be Logging with PocketDyno and MMCD and tuning via my EPROM ECU. My end goal is to have like 550-600 WHP eventually with the stock ECU in place with no piggy backs. I've already started the parts ordering and hope to have this monster put together in about 2 monts. (Snow will be everywhere by then) I'm almost positive all these components are fairly matched to work together. SS valves might also find their way into the picture.

Another consern is fuel supply. Will the Walbro 255 be able to supply enough fuel for the FP3065? That I don't know. I will have the entire fuel lines upgraded to -6AN lines by summer before it sees race fuel and 25 PSI of boost. Any comments are welcome. Please don't go on about it don't matter what you get if it isn't tuned. I know how to tune. Takes longer with EPROM swaps but it gets done all the same.

well i think you might have a problem with running the 2g maf and the 1000cc injectors mainly because it will run pig rich, especially on higher revs, nut if u can overcome that with ur tuning skills then everything else looks pretty good. For the tranny part i dont think JDM transmissions are different from USDM, and if all ur drivetrain parts are stock well better be careful on ur launchs LOL, or u might have a problem. also DSM's arent imports ;)

I can compensate for the injectors in the ECU. Also the Idle is going to be moved to 1000-1200 RPM's most likely due to the fact that most BIG injectors don't like low idles usually.. I'm not really planing on doing any full boost launches until I either have a spare tranny or 2 or the new dogmission... Maybe just a few launches at the track to see my 60' times and for the track to tell me I need a roll cage...
