ok, in general im curiuos as to how prone the dsm head is to warping, i have a car what was running but had blown head gasket, the head of off, andid just like input as to how many people have had their heads resurfaced, and who hasnt, and any advise on the matter, also what people have dont to get rid of old gasket crap on the head and block surfaces, maybe a good thead to put with newbie stuff when done to get a collection of info im sure others can use as well, thanks for any replies

ive gone thru 3 hg's this season because i never resurfaced i have a feeling. get it done. trust me.
 
i just put my 93 tsi back together without sendin the head out . I now leave a 100ft plume of white smoke when i leave. I think thats a preatty good answer to sending a head out to at least be checked even if it looks straight, as mine did. have them pressure check it too for cracks.
