I am planning on eventually building my block

I also want to stick with the 7bolt for less hassle

I Ihave a 99gst so i have the new 2 piece and updated crank, so i shouldnt have many problems with crankwalk, plus i will have all those pieces replaced with fresh stock ones.

My problem is i dont know anyone yet that i can trust enough to put it together.

There is RRE down south, but are they capable of doing a reliable build? I've heard positive and negative, i want someone good and reliable and that knows their shit and someone i can trust.

I just want to do a basic Eagle rods and JE piston build, 8.5:1 comp, clean the block up, new gaskets, arp main studs, new oil pump, and all the basics, somewhat of a budget build, but i want it done right.

I might also have the head slightly ported and polished along with new valvetrain components, but probably stock cams or some very very mild ones, as i must still pass smog, LOL

Help me out

Engine Parts Machining (EPM) in fremont is a very good shop.

Good prices on labor/machining and they know their 4G63s.

They built a couple of motors for BOZZ performance (please, dont start the flaming-their cars were badass) including the Top Secret Supra(Bozz's US version).

One problem--- Ever hear of lag? ya, the've got plenty of it. :)

I dunno if this is out of hand mods? I know there is no bashing allowed, Im not a vendor or anything, just a happy customer with a recomendation for a local DSMr.

One local guy did some machining at Benson Automotive. He seemed to like services and pricing. GT fabrication does angine work as well I think but they 're on the high end as far as pricing. And everybody knows R&R service, right?
