2 quest. CAI and no PS

SImple header here. Have any of you guys made your own cold air intake with the mafs still on the car? I dont mean putting up a shield and keeping the filter in the engine bat still. Im curious if anyone has any pics or know abouts of a maf mounted outside the engine bay like a dsm with a vpc and cold air int.??

Secondly, for those of you who have taken out your ps, how is it? I took off my belt to see what it would be like and though it was pretty dang heavy (and I aint a puss ). Just want to know, for those of you who have done it, if you really get used to it or if you wish you had kept the power steering.

The proper way to remove the PS system is with the use of manual steering rack (it was available on some NT 1G's only, sorry there is no 2G manual rack). It will require more steering effort, but no-where near as bad as PS rack with out a belt. The drawback to it, is that your steering will become slower. That is because this rack has higher gear ratio. This is not a big deal unless you are die-hard autoxer.

You can buy them for $60-$150. But intalation is a bit of a PITA.
