What injectors to run with E316G, will I need an s-afc?

What boost can be ran on an EVO III 16G with 550cc injectors, are those suitable? Eventually I will be buying a front mount and I'm going to upgrade injectors now, so what size would I need? Will I need an S-AFC with it? I have the 3" GM MAF blow thru set up, but my translator is only version 1.03, so it only tunes by 5%'s. Also, where can I purchase gaskets for the oil return line? Is a stainless steel feed line necessary if upgrading to the e316g? Thanks~Brandon.

P.S.: What can be done to fix tranny grinds (when I downshift into first and when I shift and downshift into second I get a little grind sound)? Thanks again, Brandon.
 
I'm going to upgrade injectors now, so what size would I need?

-That depends on what you want, Extremepsi.com has some great prices on 650s or 660's. I would get larger ones instead of maxing out the 550's and then having to upgrade again. I personally have 680's but I had to pull out alot of fuel because the car was running super rich, But I know I will not hafto upgrade for bigger injectors now.

-You dont need an safc but it would be a good tool for fine tuning.

- You can get them from slowboyracing.com, or any other website online. Possibly the dealership in you're area or a local auto parts store can order them. You do not need the ss oil feed line but it is better. It takes the oil right from the oil filter housing.

- You can try replacing you're fluid with some of the tranny fluids that everyone recommeds on this site, You're syncro's might just be worn out and need replacing.
 
U can run anything from 14-20lbs or so on pump gas

I got the 650's to run with my evoIII for the small amount of extra cost its probably worth it.

definently get an afc and a logger

SS oil feed line is best, if you have a 1G you can use the stock location. If you have a 2G the only way to re-use the stock location feed @ the oil filter is to get a stainless line. U can however plug the hole at the feed line and use the feed location from the head. (If you want to do this(and you have a 2G I'll sell you an old oil feed line off a 1G i have laying around $10))

Screw the SAFC, get the upgraded chip for your MAFT. 2.01. MAFT Tuning > SAFC Tuning any day
MAFT Tuning AND SAFC Tuning (I'd put a cool "thumbs up smiley", but they aren't working)
 
550s are too small for an Evo III if you plan on running a lot of boost.

Personally, I always want injectors that will work with the turbo no matter what boost I run with it.
