This question concerns ARP head bolts. My new/rebuilt motor has approx 70 miles on it and I wanted to find a concensus as to the necessity of retorqing headbolts after several heat cycles. I have read several scenarios for when to do it, however, I wanted to re-entertain the question here again. Please contribute what you know concerning this subject. This is a 1g into a 2g swap.

after awhile (maybe 200-300 miles?) i went and retorqued mine but they really didnt budge. thats what ive heard from others that have gone to retq theirs. but its just taking off the valve cover so i figured ide do it just to be sure

Well You can't go wrong to retorque... Worst case you did about 20 minutes worth of work to ensure a good head install. If the Head was brand new you would see that when you retorqued it that it was off a bit cause the alum. is still soft and seating up. Just like a new set of wheels. Anyways go ahead and give yourself some insurance and safty of mind.
