Ok im a cheap person with not alot of money. I completely rebuild my engine and put a PTE 56trim turbo on it. And i am planning on putting 750 cc injectors with a Aeromotive FPR with a Walbro-255 LPH and a stand alone ESM. But i realize that it must be tuned and i dont think they can tune the engine until it has been broken in am i correct? and i dont want to be driving the car around with 750cc injectors and not have the engine tuned. And i dont think i would need all the fuel since for the first 1k miles i will be keeping it under 3.5k RPM's. So do u guys think i can drive the car around with the stock fuel system and and stock ecu until the car is broken in then swtich every thing ang get it tuned? Thanks for you Input.

yes to all. you dont want to take the chance of washing your rings.

I also suggest that you take the 56trim off until the break in period is finish. Put a crappy turbo on

why? A 56 trim takes forever to spool so most likely he won't be boosting at all with it just for normal driving. I know I didn't. My 16g on the other hand would build 5-7 psi just from pulling out of a parking lot onto a main road. Just leave the 56 trim on there imo.

Cause if something happens at the break in period to his motor and there are metal particles in the oil, then it will go into his nicely new turbo.

yea but if the oil that gose into the turbo comes directly from the filter wont the filter most likley keep the metal out or no?

Be safe man put a crappy turbo on while in break-in period...i had a buddy thinkin the same thing and ruined his new t3/t4 when he blew the motor or the first full throttle on the new motor....be smart! :thumb:
