Emissions queston?

I was at my mechanic's shop the other day doing work (he allows a few of us to use the shop on the weekend when he isn't there, taking the huge decal off the hood, yes it's gone) and one of the guys there, not mechanic, said he didn't think I would pass emissions. If I have everything properlly tuned and I have a cat why wouldn't I pass, and do you guys think I will?

I think you should overall be pretty fine getting through, depending on state. The 264/272 combo isnt too bad for overlap and you have a random cat on there. Id say run it through as is and if you fail try some isopropyl alcohol in the tank. Good luck
