quick question about piston

i got my engine built at a macine shop. they put the pistons in, and the pistons have numbers on them. well cylenders #234 all the number are the same way. but #1 cylender the numbers are up side down. will this make a differance. thanks for any replys. they are ross pistons.
 
...the piston pins are offset so a backwards piston will make a difference. You need to be absolutely certain the offset side is put in correctly.
