any one on here runnin a 60-1 turbo? im lookin at a car for sale and the car has it, but i seldom here anything about this setup. it runs with 800cc injectors but the guy was vague about the rest of the mods. just wanderin if its a good choice turbo or should i sell it

No offense to the previous poster but you're an idiot. Some of the best deals can be had from modded cars. Some owners are too lazy to part their cars out and they know they can't get boatloads of money for them either so the sell them for cheap and you can get good deals.

Yes, some modded cars can be nightmares but you can usually tell right away.

The 60-1 turbo is awesome from what I have heard. It's laggy but the payoff is worth it. I'm personally thinking about running this turbo.

A seller being vague about all the mods is a bad sign. If he is running a 60-1 turbo and 800cc injectors, that is NOT a newbie setup, he should know everything he is talking about. Make sure you get all the details on the car, post them here and we'll give you advice.

BTW: a 60-1 is a very large turbo, capable of 500HP and the car can't control 800cc injectors without a VPC or standalone, this will be a complicated setup.

Dont ever buy a modded car dude. Especially an eclipse. Dont learn the hard way.

Umm Im gonna have to agree with what was said above...you can really get some awesome deals with modded cars. If the car was treated right and correctly modified, it will save you money. I actually prefer buying modified cars (to an extent) because it saves me from starting from scratch.

i would have to agree i sold my neon that ran 12.48 with all the mods but the nitrous so it was still a good 13.3 car when i sold it without the nitrous it dynoed 243 whp. i sold it for 4000 and just the head cost 2400 the bottom end was 1000 and the suspention was another 1000. so just right there i was over the price of what i sold it for not counting the countless other parts that were on it. i bought my crx for 3500 with a b17a motor from the old gsr and IHE, mugen kit, 16" bronze rota slip streams, just the motor would cost me that.

there are some great cars to be had just you have to know about cars and what to look for.
