Just wondering how you guys like that system. Thinking about picking it up before I upgrade to a evo16g or t28. Thanks!

You know, i was also going to go with a FP Big28, but heard that they hit full boost about same as stock.
I was thinking for us FWD'ers, we'd probably be better off with the EVO III 16g due to it building full boost at 3400 instead of 2800.
But with the Profec-B and the remote switch, you could accomplish the almost the same thing, just using the remote switch...

Imagine set to 10psi low boost in 1st and 2nd, hit the switch to hit 18psi in 3rd..... Later to whom ever is next to you, kinda like a shot of NOS....
Either way would be a good set-up in my opinion....
FP Big28 for the stock sleeper look with the ease of a straigth bolt in....
I'd like to know too....

I think it would be a great idea for a FWD...except for the fact I don't know how well I would be able to hit the switch when I am going WOT and paying attention to my tach and boost gauge.

Man I swear there are like 8 AWD cars to 1 FWD on this site. Surely some one must have some more thoughts on these products install on a GST. :|

My GST is running 300hp to the wheels with the profect B and remote switch setup that you are talking about.

Pro's :

1) Low and High boost settings at the flick of a thumb from the steering wheel
2) You can actually take advantage of high and low boost switch on the profec outside of a street and strip setting
3) you save tires by not roasting them at 22psi in first gear :)

cons :

1) damned switch doesn't want to stay planted on the wheel and if you push to hard it spins around.
2) only way to know you switched is if your boost goes high. On occasions you hit the button thinking it switched but after mashing your foot you soon realize you best be hitting it again. Gets a bit annoying second guessing and looking down between my legs where I have the profec mounted to see if the LED is on the high side.

I typically set my low boost around 10psi for launching and while I shift to second I switch over to the high setting of 22psi and hold on for dear life. Prior to having the Quaiffe LSD installed I couldn't make the swap over until third, but now the tires grab on strong.

What's your best 60 and 1/4 now? Says 14.xx in your profile but a decent trap speed. Thanks for your input.

i have that setup. when i had the s16g i would have it on low boost, then switch it over to hb in 2nd gear. my best 60ft is 2.0 on street tires. when i had my 20g i was cutting 2.0 60 ft times on hb. so honestly its a good idea but in the end its all about how good u can drive. ive never had a problem with the button sticking to the steering wheel. i like the comfort of not having to look for the button because of where i have mine mounted.

Right On Man, thanks for the info....
So at 22psi, that's on 93 right?
