Vpc??

Just in the market for a vpc. I was just wondering are vpc's for a 1g and a 2g universal? Is the harness different between the two?, are all the sensors the same for a 1g and 2g. If someone might be getting rid of one please pm me.

You can use a VPC in a 1g or a 2g, but someone else will have to answer if there is a 2g specific chip.

However, why you want to use a VPC on the other hand... For the same cost, you can have something like DSMLink.

I have a 1g and I don't want to deal with switching to a 2g eprom ecu and all the crap that comes with converting a 1g to work with dsm link and that would cost a lot more then getting a good deal on a vpc. I know dsmlink is comming out with a 1g version soon (hopefully) and I've thought about waiting for that--I don't know.

dsmlink will give you more for your money in terms of options and functions. Isn't 1G dsmlink out yet?
