94 production 95 talon

I'm guessing I have the 94 block in my talon, the guy I bought if off was an autoxer , pretty into dsms. Told me it's a early 95 and didn't have the problem of crankwalk. Do I have the same 2g internals, in the block, or is it just the block, cause I have a 2g head and intake manifold.

Unless he did a motor swap... it's your regular 4g63 2g motor.

Actually Ive heard of some weird options n' stuff that they had on the early 95' years. Like that 1g 7 bolt motor in it and weird other options in them that the rest of the 2g's didnt have.

My early '95 Tsi AWD has the 1G brakes on it. So far that's the only thing on it I have run into that is odd. Too bad they didn't accidently put a 14b on it as well =(

nine.... did you buy your car new or used? Is it possible a previous owner put them on for some odd reason.... I have never heard of a 2g coming with 1g parts from the factory.

Candela.... I beleive all 93-94 1g's came with 7 bolt motors, the 6 bolts had a short lived life.

i've heard of some early prod. 95's coming with the EPROM
and also that the early prod. 95's are less prone to CW, dont know how true that is
