thinking of buying one. I was wondering what is involved in the install so far as cutting or removing the bumper support or and whatnot..

just curious.

you will have to cut it or remove it completely. I found it alot less of a pain in the ass to remove it completely, even with the bumper support out I don't get any sag what so ever. The pipes and the core themselves do a pretty good job of holding up the bumper cover.

Not sure if this has been discussed before.. Probably has somewhere..

But, doesn't the front bumper support some of the structural integrity of car? In other words, does this cause bending/flexing of the front when in turns?

Also, wouldn't insurance companies rape you if you got in an accident with a removed front bumper support?

The bumper support is nothing but a 5mph bumper. You don't have to really worry about any safety being sacrificed.. but if you really want to, just get a smaller steel bar and weld it in there, it'll prob do a better job anyways.
