my 97 spyder gst is givin me a lil problem. if i go WOT in first gear..when it gets to about 3-4000 rpms it bogs. it does that in every gear. could it be my plugs or plug wires?? any other suggestions?

I would definitely bet that it's either your plugs or wires. 90% of the time they are the main culprit for bogging. What KIND of plugs are you using? Also, it may be a huge boost leak, so I would run an intake leak test too.

I would say 90% of the time I have the prob you talk about it is a BOOST LEAK.

If you do not have a leak tester, go to the vfaq's and build one, you will either need a little compressor or an air pump also. If you can not get one now, check all your clasps, I had one break just the other day, make sure they are all tight, be sure to check the licp one also. Good Luck :thumb:

ya, most of the time it is my licp. but i already tightened that clamp. ive had problems with my plugs and wires before...but they went away after i went through 2 sets of wires. maybe its my plugs? ill have to check for leaks i guess...
