Xenocide said:Since this thread is out there, let me ask a question. I have a 1G (manual transmission) Turbo yadda yadda and had a JDM engine swapped in due to valves hitting pistons.
The JDM engine was likely an automatic; it had the TD04 tubo, 390cc injectors, and a smaller throttle body etc. Now would that engine have had automatic cams and thus should I be shopping for some turbo cams as I'm loosing some power there due to the different grind on the cams, or did the JDM engines not have different cams in the automatics?
If so, is there any way to tell the difference between auto and turbo cams as I have a spare head that *might* have turbo cams but I don't know how to tell.
