fuel cut 2g!

what is the fuel cut on a 2g? it seems like when i hit 15 lbs on my b16g i hit fuel cut... i thought that i would be able to push at least 17.. this sound about right?... dont flame mee :-x

Fuel cut is when the ECU sees an unsafe amount of air via the MAF. It cuts fuel to control the condition and stop things melting. You need to turn down your boost until you have the mods and knowledge to continue.

17 psi maybe on a small 16g. It all depends on intake air temp (density) etc. Just turn the boost down a couple of psi for now.

This has been gone through a million times...check your frickin plugs/wires. I was hitting massive fuel cut at like 4500rpm and 12psi and I threw in the NGK BPR7ES and voila..no more cut..

Or, you hve a boost leak. So, the turbo could be pushing 20 psi worth of air, but 5 psi is wasted out the leak, and your intake mani only sees 15 psi. So, try a leak test.
